It’s nothing new that Russia and Ukraine have not only been battling physically, but also digitally. Retaliations have been going on between the two ever since Putin invaded Ukraine.

But the ways in which they actually hack each other are pretty creative.

As an example before diving into today’s hack, in September 2022, Ukrainian hackers attacked a taxi company known as Yandex, which is primarily located in Moscow, Russia, and routed all of their phones to go to one central location in Moscow.

And then out of nowhere, thousands of taxi’s show up out of nowhere.

So the attacks that they create are indeed creative, and this one is no different.

Russian hackers hacked into a Ukrainian TV broadcasting company and replaced roughly 15 channels with footage of Russia celebrating their victory of Nazi Germany in WWII.

Not only that but Russia also apparently attacked Latvia too; hijacking their TV systems and broadcasting the Moscow parade live.

Feels like something from the movies, don’t you think?
